Hi, I’m Kat!

I’m Kat Niclis, the face (and paws) behind Lucky Kat Creative. I’m the product photographer who thinks everyday stuff should look anything but ordinary. My studio is a colourful, chaotic haven where props fly, playlists blast, and my dog Vader supervises the magic.

I wasn’t always shooting bold, scroll-stopping visuals. I started out photographing million-dollar homes, but after a string of bad bosses and way too many beige interiors, I decided to switch things up. Now, I help brands bring their products to life with imagery that catches eyes and converts curiosity into sales.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably in the kitchen, channeling my inner Greek buba, or rummaging through op shops for vintage finds (Pyrex is my current obsession). Raised by Greek immigrant parents, food was everything growing up, and now it’s my love language to my own kids.

I love working with brands that are up for bold ideas, quirky concepts, and creative collaboration; the kind that leads to long-lasting, go-to partnerships.
